I'm sorry, I didn't mean to dismiss what you said, I understand your feelings. I was just saying that I don't have the same reaction to bad language etc., esp. when it just seems to be guys hassling each other. I haven't seen anything that seemed misogynistic, just some chest thumping. Well, there are a few threads that seem nasty but I just stop reading, and I try not to draw any conclusions from it 'cus I figure these things have histories, and people who are perfectly nice in real life feel less inhibition about ripping into someone online. I'm very capable of it myself.

Dear Diana ; your point of view is perfectly valid too, I wiwh you fine pastimes here !What you say about people getting rude online while they mightnot be so n real life may be true too , but I am not much of an expect about internet behaviors while I have known deadheads as trustworthy people since early 80's and they knew how to keep their scenes decent enough themselves so women would always feel safe among their crowds ,and their political opinions were never cliches same as TV either ! Maybe deadheads are not the light of the world as they used to be anymore ?
